In order to achieve a fine adjustment for himself and his instrument, Kühnl & Hoyer developed a special divisible weight system for Bb-trumpets. This particular “feature” allows the trumpet player an individual adjustment of the sound and centering. Especially effective is this weight on the 1st or 3rd valve.
