Winner of the German Musical Instrument Award 2019
For the seventh time, the Franconian brass instrument manufacturer Kühnl & Hoyer has been awarded with the German Musical Instrument Award. The first place trumpet “Topline G” prevailed over 17 other well-known German manufacturers.
All parts of the Bb-trumpet “Topline G” are manufactured by Kühnl & Hoyer at the factory in Markt Erlbach (Germany). The “Topline G” is equipped with a gold brass bell and a gold brass main tuning slide as well a gold brass lead pipe as reversed lead pipe. The manual workmanship of this instrument is underlined by the special gold lacquer finish.
Here the opinion of the jury: The Bb-trumpet “Topline G“ is well balanced in all ranges, is ergonomic to play and has excellent playing response. These attributes convinced the experts unanimously. In the classical design of a jazz trumpet, it also scores with its appearance and its exceptional construction. Because of the instruments impressive characteristics, the Bb-trumpet “Topline G” is a versatile instrument with an excellent price – performance ratio.
