Frédéric Rabold is a German jazz trumpeter who shaped the modern German jazz scene by founding his first “Frédéric Rabold Crew” in the late 1960s and attracted attention. Frédéric Rabold is heavily involved in promoting young talent and was head of the University of BigBand in Stuttgart until 2014. He plays Dixieland and Swing with his “Ice-Cream Jazz-Band”. In addition, Rabold is also active as a composer. Frédéric Rabold studied the classical trumpet in Karlsruhe and then switched to jazz.
